V Corps welcomed Lt. Gen. Thomas M. Feltey as new commanding general

V Corps welcomes Lt. Gen. Thomas M. Feltey as its new commanding general during an assumption of command ceremony, Aug. 31, 2026, where he also received a promotion to Lieutenant General. In his speech, Feltey thanked multiple generations of leaders for their dedication and laid out his objectives for the Victory Corps. “It is an honor to lead Victory Corps as we continue to build upon this legacy of readiness and commitment,” said Feltey. “Alongside our allies and partners, we will remain a forward-deployed, lethal and credible force, steadfast in our dedication to assuring our partners and deterring aggression in the European theater.”
