Twentynine Palms preventive medicine technician named EMF Bravo Senior Sailor of the Quarter

Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Raphael R. Claxton, senior enlisted leader for the Directorate for Public Health at Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms and senior preventive medicine technician for the Expeditionary Medical Facility Bravo detachment at Twentynine Palms, was selected as EMF Bravo’s Senior Sailor of the Quarter in June 2026. Through his leadership in preventive medicine, force health protection and Sailor development at Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Twentynine Palms, Claxton helps prepare medical personnel to transition from the military treatment facility to expeditionary environments while supporting the health and readiness of warfighters across the region.
