Other Transaction Authority: Modernizing the Acquisition Toolkit in Contracting

While the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Far East District (USACE FED) prioritizes delivering the highest-quality facilities to the warfighter, the district recognizes that speed of delivery is equally critical to mission success. This focus extends across all functional areas where FED operates, including engineering, construction, project management, information management and contracting. To accelerate project delivery, the Far East District’s Contracting Division is proactively training and credentialing its acquisition workforce with Other Transaction Authority (OTA) warrants.
