NORAD F-16s Deploy to High North Under Operation ARCTIC VANGUARD
The Alaskan NORAD Region (ANR) deployed Eielson Air Force Base F-16 Fighting Falcons to Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, in support of Operation ARCTIC VANGUARD (OAV) 26-4.2, from Sept. 13–26, 2026. During this North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) operation, ANR is operating directly alongside the Canadian NORAD Region (CANR) to execute critical defense missions across the Arctic.
