In a historic achievement for naval infrastructure delivery, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Northwest awarded a $9 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple-award construction contract (MACC) Sept. 30. Marking the largest single procurement action in NAVFAC Northwest history, the command selected 15 industry-leading construction partners for the award just before the close of the fiscal year – a testament to months of rigorous planning, complex market research, and exhaustive coordination across the enterprise.
