Illinois Air National Guard welcomes first Air Force warrant officer since rank reinstatement
A member of the Illinois Air National Guard has graduated as the state's first Air Force warrant officer since the branch reintroduced the rank structure. Warrant Officer Erik Khamphouy, a network operations specialist assigned to the 264th Combat Communications Squadron, graduated from the Warrant Officer Training School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, on May 28.
