Goodfellow highlights training, readiness for Texas legislators

Preparing the nation's military to meet tomorrow's challenges requires more than classrooms; it demands realistic training, modern technology and strong partnerships between military leaders and elected officials. That was the focus as Texas State Sen. Charles Perry, District 28, and Texas State Rep. Drew Darby, House District 72, visited Aug. 5, to gain a firsthand understanding of how the 17th Training Wing develops mission-ready service members while supporting the local community.
