From Classroom to Clinic: BJACH Prepares Army’s Newest Physical Therapy Specialist
Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital’s Department of Rehabilitation celebrated the graduation of Pfc. Kentson Darnell from the Army’s Physical Therapy Specialist (68F) Phase II clinical training program Aug. 4, 2026. During the 12-week practicum, Darnell completed supervised clinical training that bridged classroom instruction with hands-on patient care, preparing him to support rehabilitation, injury prevention and Soldier readiness. Following graduation, Darnell will report to Bassett Army Community Hospital at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, where he will begin his first assignment as an Army Physical Therapy Specialist, applying the skills and experience gained while training at BJACH.
