Army leaders: Next Generation Command and Control ‘ready to scale’

The U.S. Army announced the readiness to scale its Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) system across the force following the successful conclusion of the 10-month prototyping phase at Project Convergence-Capstone 6. This unified data system replaces legacy, fragmented command and control systems to vastly increase decision speed, operational survivability, and lethality from the individual Soldier to the Corps level.
