This year marks the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and on Flight 93 outside Shanksville, Penn. The events of that morning in 2001 brought about a change in American attitudes, bolstered patriotism and launched a global war on terrorism.
