Air Force chaplain brings unique faith perspective to 140th Wing

Spiritual readiness is a key component of mission effectiveness, and, for U.S. Air Force Maj. Brett Campbell, that mission begins with meeting Airmen where they are—regardless of faith background. “The role of a chaplain is to care for people and their spiritual health and their spiritual needs, " Campbell said. “Our role is to make sure that the people who actually do the mission are spiritually, mentally and emotionally ready to go out there and do it.”
